FRANCE 24 spoke to Uganda's main opposition leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine. The star musician-turned-politician called for "civil disobedience, a moral uprising, a revolution" in Uganda, which has been ruled for 38 years by President Yoweri Museveni. "I fear for my life because I know that the regime is bent on eliminating all kind of challenges," said Wine, who was recently placed under house arrest and whose driver was shot dead in 2018. The next elections in Uganda are scheduled for 2026.
