A month on, Israeli hostage families wait in agony for word of loved ones taken by Hamas

A month has passed since Hamas unleashed a day of deadly terror on Israel, storming out of the Gaza Strip and brutally murdering some 1,400 people, mostly civilians, as well as taking more than 240 hostage. The events of October 7 led to a devastating war in Gaza, which has claimed thousands of civilian lives. They have also left an indelible mark on Israeli society.

People across the country are still in shock, none more so than those still waiting desperately for news of their loved ones held hostage inside Gaza.
