Ukrainian forces enter key city of Kherson in major setback for Putin

Ukraine's defence ministry said Friday its forces were taking back Kherson after Russia had occupied the city since March. The loss is a huge blow to the Kremlin due to the city's proximity to Crimea. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba earlier called Russia's withdrawal from Kherson, which it confirmed on Friday, as an "important victory" for Ukraine.
